Petition to my State Senator and Representative

WHEREAS: The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution protects citizens’ right to speak and be informed about their elected officials’ voting records and actions; and

WHEREAS: The Texas Gag Act would ban virtually any mention of a candidate’s name by grassroots groups; and

WHEREAS: The Gag Act would force Texas Gun Rights and other groups that educate citizens on politicians’ records to hand over donors’ personal information; and

WHEREAS: So-called “Ethics Reform” bills are nothing more than a clever guise by anti-gun politicians to conceal their anti-gun records.

THEREFORE: As your constituent, I encourage you to OPPOSE any legislation designed to silence Texans or hinder citizens’ ability to discuss politicians and their voting records.

Fellow Patriot,

Powerful members of the political class have their sights set on your First Amendment rights with a Gag Act that would force groups like Texas Gun Rights to hand over the private info of donors and members, or else cease to run all programs...

Let me be clear: Texas Gun Rights will NEVER hand over a list of our members and supporters.

But this policy would effectively render ALL activism against anti-gun legislation and politicians virtually impossible by prohibiting groups from informing voters of the voting records of their politicians.

In today’s cancel culture environment, disclosing the names of our supporters could open them up to intimidation or WORSE from government officials and individuals seeking to silence or punish their political enemies.

So please help us protect your First and Second Amendment rights by signing your Stop Texas Gag Act petition today!
